Medical Weight Loss

Are you struggling with weight and want to slim down and feel healthier?  One often has an “ideal” body weight in mind or an ultimate weight-loss goal when thinking about weight loss. It’s very common for people to think that unless they lose dozens of pounds, they will not be any healthier.

This is a misconception. Studies have shown that health benefits resulting from weight-loss are evident with a weight reduction as low as 5-10 percent!  This is achievable and we can help!

With our personalized support, tools, and education, you can achieve a healthy and sustainable weight.  Our medically supervised programs are an ideal option for people who have not been able to lose weight and may need to get at least one weight-related medical problem under control.

Semaglutide:

Semaglutide belongs to a class of medications known as glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists. Given once a week, it mimics the GLP-1 hormone released in the gastrointestinal tract in response to eating.  It prompts the body to produce more insulin, which reduces blood glucose (sugar). Semaglutide also interacts with the parts of the brain that reduce appetite and signal a feeling of fullness.

A consultation, recent labwork, and a physical by our provider are required for enrollment in the program.  Contact us now to see if you’re a candidate.

Fat Emulsifier Injections:

Lipotropic injections include a custom combination of important amino acids and vitamins that are not readily available from our food or are not produced by our body. These nutrients allow the liver to break down fat cells more quickly and can aid in fat loss when used with a healthy diet and exercise.  Adding this injection once or twice weekly to your lifestyle changes can supplement weight loss, give energy, and provide better cognitive function.

B12 Injections:

B12 injections can increase average daily energy and overall sense of physical well-being!

Vitamin B12 is essential for the normal functioning of the nervous system and the formation of blood. It is involved in the metabolism of most body cells, especially affecting DNA synthesis & regulation, but also fatty acid synthesis and energy production. Many medical conditions and illnesses, as well as normal aging, can lead to a B12 deficiency. Injections are given weekly for the first month and then once or twice monthly for maintenance.

Glutathione:

Glutathione is an important intracellular antioxidant that helps to modulate reactive oxygen species. Glutathione also plays an essential role in cellular signaling and transcription processes, including some involved in the adaptations of skeletal muscle to athletic training. Based on these functions, some researchers have proposed that increasing glutathione concentrations via supplementation or increased synthesis may enhance athletic performance.
