Why have a Dr.acula™ procedure (PRF) vs a vampire procedure (PRP)?
Liquid PRF is the most advanced procedure compared to PRP. PRP, used in traditional vampire facials is mixed at a faster speed, causing important cells like fibrin and white blood cells to sink to the bottom of the tube, unused. The growth factors in PRP are used up within hours vs PRF can produce a higher cumulative release of growth factors over several weeks. The slower centrifuge speed in PRF therapy preserves a higher concentration of fibrinogens and white blood cells that create an enriched serum. The serum will gradually release growth factors to allow healing from within while the fibrin serves as well as a scaffold for longer results. The utilization of your own blood minimizes risks, ensuring a safe procedure with minimal side effects.
What is involved with a Dr.acula™ Face Lift?
First, you will rest with a topical anesthetic for approximately 45 minutes.
Next, the Fotona Er-Yag laser is used to create laser “microneedling” channels in the skin and promoting new collagen production.
Then a blood draw is then taken to collect tubes to spin in a horizontal centrifuge to create perfect samples of liquid PRF.
Finally, the liquid PRF (or liquid gold as we like to call it) is applied over your skin and soaked up in the microchannels created during the laser treatment. We ask that our clients leave the PRF serum on their face for 24 hours to enjoy the full benefits of PRF. Over the next few weeks the lifting effect continues to get better!
